Vietnamese Deputy Minister visited Koscom
On June 18, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Hung and his party visited Koscom(CEO Kim, Kwang Hyun).
Deputy Minister and his party were introduced Koscom's plan to expand its IT infrastructure for the securities market to Malaysia, Cambodia, and Laos and exchanged views with Koscom on ways to cooperate in the field of SI and securities-related IT solutions. They also deeply discussed ways to co-invest and collaborate with another Vietnamese corporations.
Deputy Minister and his party had a tour of Koscom's main computer facilities and were briefed on how to run Stock-Net, a computerized broadband network for Korean financial investment industry.
CEO of Koscom Kim, Kwang Hyun said, "We had a meaningful discussion of a possible cooperation," and "his visit to Korea and Koscom was an excellent opportunity to showcase our distinguished IT infrastructure to Vietnam, and we hope further progress in exporting our IT infrastructure to Vietnam."
