Koscom-BT provide KRX market data to foreign investors

Koscom made announcement on 15th that it signed the contract for providing real-time KRX(Korea Exchange) market data to foreign investors through worldwide telecommunication company BT.

This contract was made to meet the demands of globalization and to conveniently and quickly provide real-time information of the domestic market to more than 1 million foreign investors located at 48 countries. Not only would it promote the investment activities of the domestic market but also strengthens the competitiveness of KRX.

According to the contract, Koscom will provide domestic network services and KRX market data. Also, BT-Radianz, the daughter company of BT that provides network services for the finance industry, will participate mutually for providing and selling foreign network.

Koscom asserts that in the past, foreign investors had to come to Korea and build their branch to connect the lines in order to be provided with real-time information of domestic market. This whole process was very complicated and required large expenses. Through this opportunity, these problems will be resolved, which will fuel up the investing activities to our domestic market.*
