Joins Strategic Alliances with RSA

KOSCOM and the world information security corporation, RSA Security (www. rsasecurity. com) decided to sign strategic alliances to co-promote multi-dimensional information protection business such as activated public authentication and certificate applied solution business.

Above the information protection business of securities firms, KOSCOM adds technology and sale power based on public authentication service with RSA suming up the source of information protection. RSA and PSM Korea, an information protection applied solution corporation will co-develop Koreanized security solution.

This coalition enables KOSCOM to activate public authentication and information protection business and RSA can expand their information protection technology business in Korea in order to seek for mutual benefits.

KOSCOM stated this coalition was processed fast due to the financial accidents happened on cyber securities recently. The expansion of public authentication will be accelerated using the resource of RSA which is the fundamental technology of public authentication so as to help securities industry adapt faster and to protect securities trading investors.

Bob Prichard, the vice president of RSA Security remarked that he expected their technology diversely utilized into various solutions to root in Korea security industry. He said, "Infrastructures like Wireless LAN and M-commerce are growing rapidly in Korea compared to other countries, now is the time to concern seriously about the security." He showed great interest in Korean wireless Internet and wireless LAN security market.

RSA Security will host a seminar on coming October to predict the direction of domestic security market movement and introduce RSA's core security technology.
