Cooperates with Brocade to Level up Standard

The world SAN(Storage Area Network) infrastructure provider Brocade Communication System signed a strategic agreement with KOSCOM choosing SAN as the standard platform for domestic securities firms.

SAN equipment of Brocade plays a key role when structuring financial Disaster Recovery solution.

According to the agreement, both corporations…

▣ have solution necessary for Korea securities businesses, especially about the storage technology adopted in international standard

▣ share know-how and knowledge with domestic securities firms, SAN is chosen and the guideline published this July will be the first Disaster Recovery Framework

▣ hire the newest solution of Brocade Silk Worm 12000 at KOSCOM's data center to provide SAN service to small and medium securities firms

▣ KOSCOM will run its own SAN solution team to provide customizely designed SAN solution, consulting and total system service to domestic securities firms

Except these, to test the efficiency, suitability and relations among heterogeneous machines…

▣ world famous SAN research center, Brocade SAN LAB is open to KOSCOM to R&D and experiment

▣ Brocade provides consulting for technology and structure of KOSCOM's technology platform

This MOU means KOSCOM will practice 13 SAN standard technology of Brocade among 17 SAN standard technology of financial solutions. This will up date domestic securities related solutions to reach international standard.
