Builds Remote Site Backup for KSE

Korea Securities Computer Corporation(KOSCOM)  built a remote site backup system to real timely dualize the automated stock trading system of Korea Stock Exchange(KSE) and began to operate from 5th.

There is a main computing system to execute the automated stock trading system real time.

When natural or human related disasters happen or error occurs, this remote site backup system will replace the original function to continue the securities trading.

The automated stock trading system of KSE not only provides information about trade settlement and investment but also the information required to calculate Korean composite stock index. It executes investment-necessitated information punctually.

If fire or inundation like disasters happens at KSE main computing system or when normal functioning is judged impossible because of systematic error, there will be speedy transfer to the backup system to keep the continuity of business.

This remote site backup system makes Korea able to prevent functionality paralysis of securities market from various disasters and uplifts the credibility of Korea securities market domestically and internationally.
